The golden rule in negotiating/drafting agreements is prior preparation. . More often than not, drafting of the agreement presents many problems. The importance of drafting of agreement cannot be underestimated as it involves integrating by means of written words the agreement that has been reached during the course of negotiations. It is, therefore, desirable that after conclusion of the negotiation, the task of drafting the agreement is done mutually so that any possible legal pitfalls may be avoided.
